Transformation is in the air

The SA motor industry is heading into an exciting time of change. From the economic situation that is affecting car sales to questions being asked about OEM practices, we are entering a time of transformation.

Region in the spotlight: Western Cape
There has been much emphasis on training in the Western Cape region recently with the efforts lead by MIWA Regional Chairman, Gunther Schmitz, and his team.

Sad farewell to Kishore
Staying Occupational Health and Safety compliant is critical. Don't get caught in a situation where you can't claim because you don't comply.
Kishore Dukhanti sadly passed away on 3 May. He will be missed.
Who's who in MIWA
It's important that you know who your regional MIWA representative is just in case you need info, help or just want to touch base.

From the Director's Desk

We are in a season of change – politically, economically, and seasonally. With change comes anxiety but also possibility and we believe that the changes coming to our industry are going to be exciting for the aftermarket sector. Our aim is to keep you posted on next steps in terms of the Right to Repair Campaign, the industry code and the Competition Commission probe.

To our Western Cape members, please take a look at your region in the spotlight this edition.

And congratulations to our first winner, Andrew Kendon, who received R5 000 this month. Make sure you enter as the next draw takes place at the end of the quarter.
