From the Director's Desk

August has been a busy month filled with regional AGMs taking place around the country. It has been good to meet with many of you at these meetings and I thank you for your attendance. The AGMs will wrap up at the end of September after which I will put together a summary of decisions made which will appear in the September newsletter.

I would also like to encourage you to register for our conference at Automechanika. It's going to be a great morning and an opportunity to get together. As a MIWA member there is no cost involved and by registering you get free access to the Automechanika show.

Lastly, I would like to highlight the training opportunities available to you. Please take a moment to read the training story in this newsletter and strongly consider how you can upskill your staff. We need to meet the skills demand in our industry.

Have a good month and enjoy the start of Spring.

Pieter Niemand
Director of MIWA
